Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for High Cholesterol

Keep your pizza intake to one slice to avoid high cholesterol intake while you dine at Pizza Hut. Skip Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice as it contains a high amount of fat and the sodium levels are also very high. Avoid the desserts section completely to limit the fat and sugar intake. This Pizza Hut location is comically bad. Because we are gluttons for punishment as well as pizza, we have only recently stopped ordering from them. A few of their greatest hits include: -Telling me our address is not found in their deliver radius, after we've ordered at least 3 times from them. -Thinking our last name is Mooo. -Telling my husband over an hour after ordering that they don't offer bacon stuffed crust, website be damned. -Blaming unnamed "people in the office" for writing down our address wrong This does not include the numerous times the order itself is partially incorrect, cold, or just never delivered. We are finally done.

ALWAYS late. Today, estimated time was 30 min. 1.5 hours later... still not here. I called to speak to the manager and she was rude and full of excuses. They've just lost a customer.

Hate to be a Debbie downer, but I guess luck was not on my side the past two weeks... Food poisoning. I have been throwing up all day after eating 2 slices of Pizza from this establishment. And, so has my friend. Yesterday I ate a banana and nothing until around 10:30 pm. I never order pizza, as it isn't the most healthy option, but after a long week we decided to go for it. My friend ate a peanut butter sandwich yesterday for lunch. The fact that we both have what my doctor via telephone deemed as food poisoning confirms in my mind that is what we have! Our doctors called in anti nausea medication which has helped tremendously. I called the store to let them know 2 people got sick from this order, and I was told to go to the ER and bring in a note. I do not have the time or money to do this and our doctors already deemed it food poisoning. The manager was combative as I asked for a refund. He said I needed proof that my friend and I have been sick all day. No awknowledgement or even oh, I am sorry. Just "our pizza is fresh." After 2 people got sick and our doctors called in medication, which I had to pay for, I am a bit angry. I have worked in restaurants (not pizza take out) and I have never, ever heard of bringing in proof for a $35 order. The star is for a delivery man who was sweet and fast. We tipped him $10. Do not eat here, or take a risk by doing so.

Rarely order from Pizza Hut but they were having a game day promotion so decided to give them a try. Went to pick up the pizza and wasn't greeted. Stood there for a bit before he asked me for my name. He went and got my pizza, opened it up and showed it to me. I asked him where the balsamic vinegar and hut favorite crust topping were and he looked at my receipt and said "oh we forgot". So he takes me box to the back and I HATE that I can't see what's going on in the kitchen. They really need to create an open kitchen space like dominos and papa johns. He comes back and opens the box and my toppings are there but then I notice his thumb is greasy and I asked him if he wore gloves while handling my pizza. He denies touching my pizza and says the grease came from the bottles -_- we awkwardly look at each other and I just take my pizza and walk out. Can't really argue over free pizza...but I definitely know I will never be a paying customer.

I usually don't see the point in referring to Yelp for chain-type restaurants but my experience was so comically, pathetic this afternoon, I had to take to the Internets to briefly lay it out. Placed my online order to pick up this afternoon around 2:45'ish. I walked over a little after 3 to pick it up. A man asked me for my name and said it would be another two minutes. Then he got in his car for a delivery and left. While I waited, I observed a woman continuously talking on her personal phone. I assumed that she was waiting for one of my items to pop out of the oven or something along those lines. 10 minutes later I asked what was going on (I was on a 10-minute break from work and it had now been 20 minutes I was gone). She stared at me and smiled. She did not speak any English. She then went around to the back and a few minutes later another man appeared and asked how he could help me. WHAT WAS GOING ON?! I gave the man my name and he said, "One minute." That's when I saw him say something to the woman and she went into the freezer and BEGAN making my order. I left.

Doesn't taste like Pizza Hut. This is our first time trying this Pizza Hut and we were so disappointed. We love Pizza Hut normally, but out pizza was cold and hard when it was delivered. The pasta had no flavor, the breadsticks were all dried up. Won't be returning to this Pizza Hut.

Gonna make this quick and simple. Delivery time is pretty decent, of course if you order on a Friday night you'll wait and hour because it's Friday so I won't cry over that. The food is sooooo hit or miss it's scary, I've ordered from the place over 15 times and every time I order cheesy bread sticks, I swear they start with the cinnamon sticks and notice midway and just put cheese over it any way. So the cheeses sticks taste like cinnamon lol, I actually brought it up before and the guy was like" yea..." As if it was kinda funny. Pizza will taste like Pizza Hut 60% of the time, also their promo that they send via text occasionally wont be honored at this Pizza Hut. In retrospect as I write this review I think this is more of a franchising issue lol.

Their pizza is adequate, but they are slow as could be. Never call them, they will put you on hold for over 10 minutes.... also they don't use gloves when they prepare your food, which I just think is gross

Never again!!! Ordered pizza with 2-Liter Diet Pepsi. Guy shows up at my door with a 2-Liter Regular Pepsi with no explanation. Couldn't he see it was the right one before he left. Accepted it anyway due to my hunger and time, but never ever again will I buy anything from this place.

So disappointed! It took nearly an hour to receive a pan pizza delivery, which I specifically requested be with LIGHT sauce. When I opened the box, it looked as if someone had dumped a full can of tomato paste into the center of the pizza. I'll stick with Domino's from now on: faster delivery and better quality.

The service sucks, the pizza and wings are cold, and they failed to give me everything I payed for!! This was the worst experience I have had in a long time at a Pizza Hut carry out. I placed my order online for carry out and arrived at the store to pick it up at the time they said it would be ready. The cashier retrieved the pizzas from the warmer...they were already in the warmer as if they are not made fresh to order. Nonetheless, I got home and realized they hadn't given me everything I ordered. When I called back to request they delivery it, I was reprimanded and treated like I had done something wrong. Lucas, the Manager on duty, was rude, combative, and unapologetic. He refused to honor a promise to issue a $5- $10 refund to my credit card to compensate my having to drive back to the store. Rather, he insisted on a coupon for a future order as if I would ever return to this dump. Unbelievable!! By the way, the pizza maker makes the pizzas without wearing gloves--GROSS!

2 Years later, I moved back to downtown Silver Spring and I was pleasantly surprised how much this location has improved! The boyfriend & I order from this location and the service is always prompt and the pizza is always piping hot. Thumbs up for the improvements!

While my mom was visiting she decided we should have pizza for dinner and asked if I had a Pizza Hut nearby. I'm a Pizza Boli's fan, but my mom wanted Pizza Hut. I said, "But mom, I don't have any coupons for Pizza Hut. It is going to be expensive." I looked in my recycling bin. No luck. Then it occurred to me to look online. I went to their website and indeed they had specials. The only catch: You have to order online. Ordering online means setting up an account. WTH, I did it. It wasn't so painful and I saved six bucks. My pizza would be ready in about 15 minutes. That was just enough time to brush my teeth, put on my shoes and drive the 1.3 miles to pick it up. I walked in and the guy at the counter said, "Are you Libby?" Yes indeed. My pizza was ready and piping hot when I got home. It was good. Nice and cheesy for me, pepperoni-y for my mom and mushroom-y for the both of us. Mom approved.

It's Pizza Hut -- what can you say? If you like Pizza Hut pizza (I think it's fine, not the best but definitely not the worst either) this location will suit your needs. When I phone ahead for carry-out, my pizza is almost always ready when I arrive. Note that this location does not have dine-in service.

I'm typically a fan of Pizza Hut/Wing Street. This particular franchise, however, is staffed by some of the slowest and least customer service oriented people I have ever met. Stay away!

So gross! I ordered a pan pizza on Thursday night. It took almost an hour, which would have been ok with me, except that the pizza was not fully cooked! I picked up a piece and noticed immediately that the underside was soft and moist, like dough. No part of the crust was crispy. I put it in the oven for 15 minutes, and that did the trick. Also, this is a little weird, but the pizza appeared to be a medium, even though I ordered a large. It was delivered in a large box, but the pizza took up only 60% of the box, and had 8 slices, rather than 10. I won't be ordering again - ever.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
